Alyx Harter Geras

Alyx Harter Geras is the daughter of Cory Harter, our camp CEO, and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a young child. Alyx, Cory and Chris got involved with Camp Hot Shots 30 years ago and it became a big part of her life. Alyx participated as a camper, counselor and volunteer throughout the years and continued to come to camp with her husband Bryan and daughter Kaylee. Alyx tragically passed on February 17, 2026.

This Memorial Scholarship fund has been established in Alyx (Harter) Geras' name to always remember her infectious smile and how she was loved by all. This Scholarship will support children who need financial assistance to attend this diabetes camp.
